Holidays in The Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is a historical region of England and covers an area of about 790 square miles. It’s England’s largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you will find magnificent countryside, river valleys, gentle hillsides, water meadows, cottages and many more. It’s a great place to go nature tripping and when you bike around The Cotswolds you’d surely feel empowered and full of energy.

In the Cotswolds you can find ancient limestone villages as well as market towns that had been here for hundreds of years. It’s said that in the Cotswolds, time stood still for 300 years… and counting! Spend your holiday in a beautiful English cottage and you will never forget the Cotswolds.

The landscape here together with its historical landmarks made the region a popular tourist attraction not just to the English but also to tourists from around the world. I have no idea why I stumbled on this, but I really need to correct something irritating about this. 'The' Cotswolds is a region/area, not a place, so you do need to call "The Cotswolds"...trust me, I live here, you aren't going to find a place called, "Cotswolds" on any map.
